How You Like Me Now?, Michael's first film, is a whacked-out good time, which features him in the lead role as Jerome Jackson, a.k.a. The Creeper. Decked out in blackface (Chris himself is black, which only makes the shit funnier) and a jeri curl wig, Michael is hilarious. I loooove The Creeper, with his ghetto-pimp walk, and his super ghetto-jive powers. I hope to see more of him in future films. For his next feature Michael plans on doing Count Malt Liquela vs. Blackenstein. I hope he shoots this one on vido, freeing himself from the technical traps that come with the expense of working in film. As the self-proclaimed Black Ed Wood, Chris Michael is selling himself short. Ed Wood was a talentless filmmaker, who never knew how bad he was. Michael, on the other hand, has a definite talent, and a sense of humor, that is still beyond his abilities as a filmmaker. Someday he will be a better filmmaker, making good movies. I can't wait for that time to get here.
